As part of the Changi Airport community, we have to work together to make Changi Airport efficient and safe for travellers. Below are some guidelines on how to handle unattended bags/items in Changi Airport.

If you see an unattended bag or item:

• Call the Airport Police Division (APD) Hotline at (65) 6546 0000.
• If possible, remain in the general location of the unattended bag or item and wait for officers from APD to arrive. This is to help to point out the location of the bag or item.
• Prior to the arrival of APD officers, do not stay too close to the unattended bag or item and do not handle the unattended bag or item. Advise members of the public to stay preferably more than 3 metres away.

If you are approached by members of public:

• Assure the member of public or passenger that you will handle his feedback/query.
• Do not refer the member of public to other persons.
• Call the APD Hotline at (65) 6546 0000.

Inform the member of public or passenger that the Police have been informed and thank him for the feedback.
